Carols Favorite Panama City Beach Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Eateries

Carol Smith owns and operates Breakaway Vacay, a successful vacation condo rental company in Panama City Beach. Often times she has the opportunity to recommend favorite restaurants to her seasonal guests. Here are some of Carol's favorite PCB restaurant recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy!

Breakfast

If a large, country style breakfast is your preference, look no farther than Fatty Patty's Cakes & Cafe (948 Thomas Dr). This small restaurant is located on Thomas Drive just across from the Naval Base. Fatty Patty's has an exceptional menu with something to please most anyone. Prices are great too, and portions are huge, and the quality of food and service is incomparable.

Lunch

There is a tie for my favorite PCB restaurant I frequent for lunch.

I love Liza's Kitchen (7328 Thomas Dr) on the east end of Thomas Drive, and Fatty's Sandwich Shop on both the east and west end of the beach. Liza's and Fatty's offer the best sandwiches and wraps on the Gulf Coast in my culinary opinion. Unusual combinations and specialty homemade sauces make both of these two restaurants Best on the Beach.

Dinner

There are so many fantastic PCB restaurants for a wonderful dinner experience that this too is a difficult choice of favorite. So I'll mention a few of my personal faves.

J. Michael's Restaurant (3210 Thomas Dr) has a different special each night of the week. Casual atmosphere, wonderful prices and I have eaten everything on the menu except oysters which I can't do... and everything is phenomenal. My daughter says the oysters are too. They have the best Greek salad and garlic bread on the beach. J Michael's is located on Thomas Drive just across marina bridge.

Triple J Steakhouse (2218 Thomas Dr). Honestly, this is probably the best steak in Florida let alone in PCB. Steak is one of my favorites and I've enjoyed some delicious cuts over the years. Also love the blue cheese wedge salad and the Durango Dip at Triple J is to die for.

The Shrimp Boat Restaurant (1201 Beck Ave). Here's a PCB restaurant with exceptional gourmet dining in an exquisite atmosphere overlooking St Andrew's Bay. Their extensive menu often results in less room available for dessert. 1201 Beck Ave
